This is another special collection of digital photography, by Helen Thomson. The subject is the historic harbour town of North Berwick, in East Lothian, Scotland.
The views are mildly abstract but still recognizable. Each image has its own distinctive properties which give it it's character and charge it with the emotion and inspiration felt by the photographer at the time of its capture.
Every image is unique to Helen. Each capture has been made in-camera; using principally, ICM (intentional camera movements). The RAW files have then been digitally manipulated by Helen for clarity, saturation and luminance, to produce the final images ready for printing. No photoshop has been used.
Printed only on Blurb's best archival paper, Proline Uncoated, and hard backed for durability, every image in the book is suitable for fine-art framing in its own right.
